House Plan Description
The Aubrey home plan is a lovely Victorian antebellum style design. Wrought-iron balustrades, shed rooflines and sculpted masonry define a classic elevation that is anchored by a stunning side turret, twin dormers and massive Doric columns. The romantic theme of the Aubrey plan creates a stunning street presence, in step with neo-neighborhood relationships.
The design ethos continues into the forward rooms of the Aubrey plan, which introduce a fabulous layout which is dramatic, inspiring and deeply comfortable. Grand arches and columns frame the foyer and gallery, flanked by well-defined formal rooms, a living room and dining room. At the heart of the home, a spacious leisure room leads to the lanai, and brags a two-sided fireplace shared with a private study. The opposing turret harbors a spiral staircase and a loft that links with the balcony and sleeping quarters upstairs.
The kitchen is open to a light and airy breakfast nook. There is a large center island with a bar sink and has lots of additional counter space. The leisure room is also open to the kitchen making it the perfect place to entertain family and friends.
The entire right wing of the Aubrey plan contains the master suite. There is a private access from the master bedroom to the verandah. Enjoy a fresh cup of coffee from the morning kitchen, just off of the master foyer. There is a large walk in closet, separated for the owners. The master bathroom is oversized with a large walk in shower and Whirlpool soaking tub. There is a wraparound vanity with double sinks and cabinets underneath. A separate water closet completes the master bath.
The spiral staircase leads up to the second floor where the guest suites are located. One of the secondary suites provides access to a rambling deck, near the bonus room, which resides above the rear-loading garage. This spacious Aubrey floor plan consists of 3612 square feet of living area, and the plan has four bedrooms and three and 1/2 bathrooms. The foundation is a slab/stem wall.

What Plan Format Should I Order?
At Sater Design, we’re all about creating your dream home and making the process as easy as possible for you. Therefore, the plan format you select will depend on your situation. For your convenience, we sell our plans in 3 basic plan formats: printed on Vellum paper, in electronic PDF file format, and electronic AutoCAD files. AutoCAD is the name of the program that is used to create the plans. There is no “correct” or “better” plan format, it all depends on your individual needs. Each plan format has its benefits and some are more versatile than others.
Print Vellum: The most popular plan format our customers order is the Print-Vellum format. This plan format gives you a set of plans printed on Vellum paper that you can show your builder. Copies can be made as needed– see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details. The Vellum paper is erasable (using a special architect’s eraser) so added notes or minor changes can be made to the plans if needed. The Vellum plan format is the most expensive to ship.
PDF Electronic: The second most popular plan format is PDF, which is an electronic file format. We email you the plan as a set of electronic PDF files. This plan format provides the most expedient way to receive the plans. Your local blue print shop can make prints as needed. Again, see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details on making copies. The PDF plan format is an electronic file, but it is not editable so changes can be more difficult to make.
CAD Electronic: If you need to make changes or alterations to the plan, you will need to order the plan in electronic AutoCAD plan format. Anyone with the AutoCAD program and knowledge of how to use it — which most builders do –will be able to open the files and make changes to them. Your builder or local blue print shop can make prints from the AutoCAD files (see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details). There AutoCAD files come on a USB flash drive and is shipped with your plan licensing information packet.
