House Plan Description
The Burke House house plan promises 21st-century repose combined with Old World architecture. Decorative diamond-pane windows set off the entry turret of this Euro-style home announced by a pedimented entry that suggests a renaissance influence. A progressive interior explores the integration of romantic old-world elements and cutting-edge architecture. In the center of the Burke House plan, a two-story coffered ceiling plays counterpoint to a two-sided fireplace shared by the great room and study. Walls of glass define the rear perimeter, permitting views and light throughout the home. The kitchen adjoins a wet bar leading to the formal dining room. A food-prep island, walk-in pantry and wrapping counters highlight a well-planned kitchen. A second fireplace in the leisure room offers warmth all the way through to the breakfast nook and kitchen.
The entire left wing of the Burke House plan contains the master suite. The master bedroom has French doors opening out to a private verandah. The hall leads to his and hers walk in closets. Further down the hall is the master bathroom. There are separate vanities with sinks and a water closet that has a toilet and bidet. A large walk in shower and Whirlpool soaking tub round out the master bath. Upstairs, two grand lofts harbor space for homework, computers, and books. Timber beams extend beyond the balcony loft to the vaulted leisure room on the main level. The upstairs loft connects three guest suites with full baths, each with it's own private balcony. A bonus room above the garage is the perfect room for a home theater or game room. The floor plan of the Burke House has 4658 square feet of living area, and it has four bedrooms and four and 1/2 bathrooms. Finally, the plan sits on a slab/stem wall foundation.
