House Plan Description
Our La Ventana home plan is an Andalusian inspired masterpiece. It's rope moulding accents give a Romanesque flair to the pointed arch entry in this detail rich Mediterranean manor house. The foyer is highlighted by a barrel vaulted ceiling and leads to the living room with floor to ceiling mitered glass and views to beyond. On the right of La Ventana is the formal dining room, which is open to the adjacent living room to create sense of spaciousness.
Guests are welcomed to the informal areas of the house via a dramatic two-story stairway and stand behind wet bar. A walk-in wine cellar is showcased under the stairs through fixed glass. The leisure room, kitchen and nook of La Ventana are behind the guest suites. This open area is perfect for relaxation and entertainment alike. The leisure room features a two story ceiling and pocketing corner-less sliding glass doors that make the space feel like part of the outdoors.
Just outside of the leisure room is the outdoor kitchen and a veranda that spans the entire rear of the home. The rest of this side of the home contains two guest suites with private baths and utility room. Traveling to the left of the foyer one first encounters the library/office that looks out to views in the rear. Beyond are double doors leading to the master foyer.
The master suite of La Ventana has sitting alcove and stepped tray ceilings. The master bath has his and hers walk-in closets and vanities. It also features an island tub with walk-in shower beyond. The guest suites and family spaces of La Ventana are to the right, with the leisure room opening to a veranda and an outdoor kitchen. The master suite is commanding with stepped ceilings, two walk-in closets and a luxurious bath where a centered tub 'floats' under a tray ceiling. The second level offers another bedroom, loft space and a wrapping deck. The La Ventana home plan has 5009 square feet of living area, and has four bedrooms and four and 1/2 bathrooms.
The foundation is designed with a slab/stem wall. Can't find the perfect plan? Visit our website at SaterGroup.com for our custom home planning services.

What Plan Format Should I Order?
At Sater Design, we’re all about creating your dream home and making the process as easy as possible for you. Therefore, the plan format you select will depend on your situation. For your convenience, we sell our plans in 3 basic plan formats: printed on Vellum paper, in electronic PDF file format, and electronic AutoCAD files. AutoCAD is the name of the program that is used to create the plans. There is no “correct” or “better” plan format, it all depends on your individual needs. Each plan format has its benefits and some are more versatile than others.
Print Vellum: The most popular plan format our customers order is the Print-Vellum format. This plan format gives you a set of plans printed on Vellum paper that you can show your builder. Copies can be made as needed– see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details. The Vellum paper is erasable (using a special architect’s eraser) so added notes or minor changes can be made to the plans if needed. The Vellum plan format is the most expensive to ship.
PDF Electronic: The second most popular plan format is PDF, which is an electronic file format. We email you the plan as a set of electronic PDF files. This plan format provides the most expedient way to receive the plans. Your local blue print shop can make prints as needed. Again, see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details on making copies. The PDF plan format is an electronic file, but it is not editable so changes can be more difficult to make.
CAD Electronic: If you need to make changes or alterations to the plan, you will need to order the plan in electronic AutoCAD plan format. Anyone with the AutoCAD program and knowledge of how to use it — which most builders do –will be able to open the files and make changes to them. Your builder or local blue print shop can make prints from the AutoCAD files (see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details). There AutoCAD files come on a USB flash drive and is shipped with your plan licensing information packet.
