House Plan Description
Revival elements, quoins, fractables and sculpted masonry surrounds recall the beauty of this rural Spanish villa, the San Lorenzo. Massive stone pilasters guard a paneled entry and stair tower, which break the forward massing of this Spanish European design. Round clerestory windows and keystones bring a sweet familiarity to a facade that's bold enough to be called "brand new". A coffered ceiling and a two-story bow window brighten the core of the San Lorenzo plan, which is the living room, and shares a two-sided fireplace with the study.
The formal dining room brags texture enlivened by natural light, with a stepped ceiling and rusticated walls, with views and vistas all around. The foyer and central gallery benefit from the spectacular stairway that winds through the turret, linking the hall with a balcony loft.
An open arrangement of the leisure room and kitchen permits breezes and a sense of nature to circulate through the entire wing. A second fireplace in the leisure room of the San Lorenzo plan warms all the way through to the kitchen and breakfast nook. Ceiling beams unify the space with the extensive computer loft, and echo the terraced ceiling of the veranda. T
he entire left wing of the San Lorenzo plan contains the master suite. Upon entering through the double doors, the hall leads to large his and hers walk in closets. The master suite has french doors leading out to a private veranda. The master bathroom has a large Whirlpool soaking tub and separate walk in shower. Separate vanities with sinks round out the master bathroom.
Upstairs, the loft leads to a private guest suite with full bath and opens to a private balcony through double doors. Continuing on from the loft are two more provate guest suites with baths. An optional bedroom can be exchanged in place of the upstairs loft.
Over the garage is a bonus room that would be perfect for a game room or theater room. The floor plan consists of 4658 square feet of living area, and the plan has four bedrooms and four and 1/2 bathrooms. The plan is designed with a slab/stem wall foundation.

What Plan Format Should I Order?
At Sater Design, we’re all about creating your dream home and making the process as easy as possible for you. Therefore, the plan format you select will depend on your situation. For your convenience, we sell our plans in 3 basic plan formats: printed on Vellum paper, in electronic PDF file format, and electronic AutoCAD files. AutoCAD is the name of the program that is used to create the plans. There is no “correct” or “better” plan format, it all depends on your individual needs. Each plan format has its benefits and some are more versatile than others.
Print Vellum: The most popular plan format our customers order is the Print-Vellum format. This plan format gives you a set of plans printed on Vellum paper that you can show your builder. Copies can be made as needed– see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details. The Vellum paper is erasable (using a special architect’s eraser) so added notes or minor changes can be made to the plans if needed. The Vellum plan format is the most expensive to ship.
PDF Electronic: The second most popular plan format is PDF, which is an electronic file format. We email you the plan as a set of electronic PDF files. This plan format provides the most expedient way to receive the plans. Your local blue print shop can make prints as needed. Again, see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details on making copies. The PDF plan format is an electronic file, but it is not editable so changes can be more difficult to make.
CAD Electronic: If you need to make changes or alterations to the plan, you will need to order the plan in electronic AutoCAD plan format. Anyone with the AutoCAD program and knowledge of how to use it — which most builders do –will be able to open the files and make changes to them. Your builder or local blue print shop can make prints from the AutoCAD files (see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details). There AutoCAD files come on a USB flash drive and is shipped with your plan licensing information packet.
