House Plan Description

The Whisperwood home plan is a traditional Craftsman-styled plan that offers great warmth and livability. Gallery porches open the indoors to nature and wide windows add plenty of wide views and natural light. Designed for a narrow lot, the Whisperwood house plan takes full advantage of the land, with a lower level island basement that sprawls across the entire footprint. It features a steep roof, horizontal siding and arched-top windows. It combines a sense of the past, while a redefined interior provides today's modern conveniences.

This Whisperwood floor plan has all the necessary amenities, gently mixed with a distinctive touch of elegant extras, such as interesting ceilings, a central fireplace and decorative columns. At the heart of the Whisperwood home plan, a hip vaulted ceiling, a cozy fireplace and a wall of built-in cabinetry enhance the great room of the Whisperwood.

The great room features a central fireplace, which can also be enjoyed by the open arrangement of the nook and kitchen. The kitchen also has a wraparound counter for added seating and extra counter space. The nook has windows overlooking the rear porch. Two secondary bedrooms share a hall bath.
