House Plan Description

A romantic air flirts with the clean simple lines of the Wilona home plan, a Victorian-styled home. Hip roofs and varied gables call up a past rich with history but also speak of a style that is nearly futuristic. An enchanting mix of Doric columns and sleek fascia set off the front porch balustrades and help frame the elegant arch-top windows of the Wilona home plan.

Past the foyer, the spacious great room accesses the back porch through three sets of French doors. Inside, classic columns and coffered ceilings enlarge the grand room's appearance. The triple French doors of the Wilona home plan open onto the column-lined rear veranda. Built-in cabinetry flanks a magnificent fireplace.

The kitchen of the Wilona floor plan boasts a wraparound eating bar and easy, open entry to the nook and formal dining room. It has a large walk in pantry and an island in the middle for additional counter space and cabinets underneath.

Enjoy quiet moments of reflection in the cozy study. With built-ins, and french doors leading into the room, it is the perfect room for curling up with a good book. On the other side of the foyer is the large formal dining room with a stepped ceiling.

Stepped ceilings and a bayed window are also featured in the master suite. There are two large walk in closets, one for him and one for her. A dual sink vanity lines one side of the master bathroom. There is a separate water closet and large walk in shower. A Whirlpool soaking tub completes the master suite.

Upstairs there are two guest bedrooms, each with a walk in closet. They share a full bath. One of the bedrooms opens out to a deck through french doors. There is also a bonus room and bath on the second floor. The floor plan has 2923 square feet of living area and has three bedrooms with three bathrooms. This home is designed with a crawlspace.

What Plan Format Should I Order?

At Sater Design, we’re all about creating your dream home and making the process as easy as possible for you. Therefore, the plan format you select will depend on your situation. For your convenience, we sell our plans in 3 basic plan formats: printed on Vellum paper, in electronic PDF file format, and electronic AutoCAD files. AutoCAD is the name of the program that is used to create the plans. There is no “correct” or “better” plan format, it all depends on your individual needs. Each plan format has its benefits and some are more versatile than others.

Print Vellum: The most popular plan format our customers order is the Print-Vellum format. This plan format gives you a set of plans printed on Vellum paper that you can show your builder. Copies can be made as needed– see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details. The Vellum paper is erasable (using a special architect’s eraser) so added notes or minor changes can be made to the plans if needed. The Vellum plan format is the most expensive to ship.

PDF Electronic: The second most popular plan format is PDF, which is an electronic file format. We email you the plan as a set of electronic PDF files. This plan format provides the most expedient way to receive the plans. Your local blue print shop can make prints as needed. Again, see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details on making copies. The PDF plan format is an electronic file, but it is not editable so changes can be more difficult to make.

CAD Electronic: If you need to make changes or alterations to the plan, you will need to order the plan in electronic AutoCAD plan format. Anyone with the AutoCAD program and knowledge of how to use it — which most builders do –will be able to open the files and make changes to them. Your builder or local blue print shop can make prints from the AutoCAD files (see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details). There AutoCAD files come on a USB flash drive and is shipped with your plan licensing information packet.
