House Plan Description
Massive square columns frame a spectacular portico and pedimented window above the entry of the Alessandra home plan, a romantic villa. This plan is influenced by renaissance forms and an elegant introduction to its splendid and livable interior. Well-defined formal rooms designed for planned events offer both intimacy and grandeur. The casual zone of the Alessandra provides a lose-the-shoes atmosphere that's deeply relaxing.
Defined by a series of sculpted arches, the central corridor extends the plan's sight lines to the leisure and master wings, and accepts sunlight through a turret of tall windows. Double doors lead from the stair hall to a quiet study, which shares a double sided see through fireplace with the living room and opens to the veranda.
The kitchen of the Alessandra plan has a pass-through to the veranda which is perfect for entertaining. There is a large center island for additional counter space. The additional curved bar offers additional seating. The corner walk in pantry provides for plenty of storage space. The open concept from the kitchen into the breakfast nook and leisure room is great for parties and get togethers with friends and family. A second fireplace in the leisure room offers warmth all the way through to the nook and kitchen.
On the opposite wing is the master suite. Double doors lead into the hall where his and hers walk in closets provide ample storage for the homeowners. The master bathroom contains a water closet with toilet and bidet. There is a large walk in shower and at the end of the room is a Whirlpool soaking tub looking out to the garden through the three sided bay window. On the upper level, a balcony hall benefits from windows to the front and rear of the Alessandra plan, connecting secondary and guest quarters that boast private decks for each suite.
The house plan contains 3956 square feet of living area and it has four bedrooms with three and 1/2 baths. The plan sits on a slab/stem wall foundation.

What Plan Format Should I Order?
At Sater Design, we’re all about creating your dream home and making the process as easy as possible for you. Therefore, the plan format you select will depend on your situation. For your convenience, we sell our plans in 3 basic plan formats: printed on Vellum paper, in electronic PDF file format, and electronic AutoCAD files. AutoCAD is the name of the program that is used to create the plans. There is no “correct” or “better” plan format, it all depends on your individual needs. Each plan format has its benefits and some are more versatile than others.
Print Vellum: The most popular plan format our customers order is the Print-Vellum format. This plan format gives you a set of plans printed on Vellum paper that you can show your builder. Copies can be made as needed– see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details. The Vellum paper is erasable (using a special architect’s eraser) so added notes or minor changes can be made to the plans if needed. The Vellum plan format is the most expensive to ship.
PDF Electronic: The second most popular plan format is PDF, which is an electronic file format. We email you the plan as a set of electronic PDF files. This plan format provides the most expedient way to receive the plans. Your local blue print shop can make prints as needed. Again, see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details on making copies. The PDF plan format is an electronic file, but it is not editable so changes can be more difficult to make.
CAD Electronic: If you need to make changes or alterations to the plan, you will need to order the plan in electronic AutoCAD plan format. Anyone with the AutoCAD program and knowledge of how to use it — which most builders do –will be able to open the files and make changes to them. Your builder or local blue print shop can make prints from the AutoCAD files (see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details). There AutoCAD files come on a USB flash drive and is shipped with your plan licensing information packet.
