House Plan Description
The Bergantino house plan is a narrow courtyard plan that creates a private sanctuary to enjoy the outdoors. An open arrangement of living space creates an airy atmosphere. This mid-sized European Bergantino plan lives large with a wealth of well-appointed indoor and outdoor living spaces. A triple arch entry, cupola and carved eave brackets set the atmosphere that is continued inside the home with multiple columns and rich, beamed ceilings. An elegant foyer welcomes guests to the Bergantino home, while the Grand Room's windows and French doors provide views of the amenity-rich courtyard. The Solana hosts a spacious outdoor kitchen and fireplace beneath a distinctive tray ceiling. A flexible loft is on the second floor, while a separate cabana on the first floor makes luxe guest quarters.
The rambling master suite of the Bergantino house plan takes up the short wing of the plan, but offers a private entrance to the courtyard. The airy kitchen boasts a roomy island and is open to the casual dining nook and leisure room. It also offers easy access to the formal living and dining rooms. There are built-ins throughout the home, such as the family valet near the rear-loading garage and the entertainment center in the leisure room. The utility room and storage space add enduring value to the home. An expansive master retreat offers the owners a luxe master bath with his-and-hers sinks as well as a central spa tub. An elegant art niche foyer features the perfect place to set the mood for relaxation. The suite also boasts a walk-in closet built for two and access to the covered loggia and courtyard through French doors. Two secondary bedrooms upstairs share a divided bath, computer desk and dramatic balcony overlooking the living room. In the courtyard, the rear, detached suite of the Bergantino can function as both a private guest quarters or a secluded home office. This floor plan contains 3142 square feet of living area and the plan has four bedrooms and three and 1/2 bathrooms. The foundation is a slab/stem wall.

What Plan Format Should I Order?
At Sater Design, we’re all about creating your dream home and making the process as easy as possible for you. Therefore, the plan format you select will depend on your situation. For your convenience, we sell our plans in 3 basic plan formats: printed on Vellum paper, in electronic PDF file format, and electronic AutoCAD files. AutoCAD is the name of the program that is used to create the plans. There is no “correct” or “better” plan format, it all depends on your individual needs. Each plan format has its benefits and some are more versatile than others.
Print Vellum: The most popular plan format our customers order is the Print-Vellum format. This plan format gives you a set of plans printed on Vellum paper that you can show your builder. Copies can be made as needed– see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details. The Vellum paper is erasable (using a special architect’s eraser) so added notes or minor changes can be made to the plans if needed. The Vellum plan format is the most expensive to ship.
PDF Electronic: The second most popular plan format is PDF, which is an electronic file format. We email you the plan as a set of electronic PDF files. This plan format provides the most expedient way to receive the plans. Your local blue print shop can make prints as needed. Again, see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details on making copies. The PDF plan format is an electronic file, but it is not editable so changes can be more difficult to make.
CAD Electronic: If you need to make changes or alterations to the plan, you will need to order the plan in electronic AutoCAD plan format. Anyone with the AutoCAD program and knowledge of how to use it — which most builders do –will be able to open the files and make changes to them. Your builder or local blue print shop can make prints from the AutoCAD files (see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details). There AutoCAD files come on a USB flash drive and is shipped with your plan licensing information packet.
