House Plan Description
This spectacular home, the Milano, was designed to take full advantage of a waterfront location. Curved glass walls expand interior spaces and grant full view of nature's splendor. With glamorous curves and varied angles, Milano is certain to match the views wherever it is built. Grand, stately columns and cast stone balusters line the plan's masterful design, accenting its breathtaking views.
Tailored amenities include a master foyer, a master garden with water feature, a plush master bath suite containing a morning kitchen, an exercise room and pool bath. All angles, curves and dramatic details, this tropical estate represents the finest in waterfront living. The dramatic porte cochere entryway at the heart of a curved driveway leads inside to a magnificent living room that appears to have no walls. The sliding glass panels disappear to embrace the stunning lake and panoramic views. The Milano home sprawls lengthwise, with a section angling off on one end to set apart the two main bedrooms, guest suite and garage.
At the other end of the Milano home is a fabulous master suite that includes an exercise room, an opulent his-and-hers bath, dual closets, a morning kitchen and a charming outdoor garden. A study sits just outside the master foyer as a transition from the living room. Its unique two-story ceiling and full wet bar, combined with luxurious casual furnishings, offer a space for both relaxing and casual entertaining. To the right of the living room, a dramatic breakfast nook with a curved glass wall floats above the swimming pool. It connects to a kitchen that is both beautiful and functional, and a family-friendly leisure room boasting striking built-ins for a fireplace, television and artwork.
The partial second level of the Milano plan includes a fully outfitted media room, a third bedroom and bath, and three loft spaces. One is rectangular and ideal for a library. A second offers a cozy space to read and play outside the media room. The third loft is a dramatic circular space under a coffered ceiling with a wall of glass that appears to hug the sky. A large observation deck completes the upper level. The floor plan has 6648 square feet of living area, and has five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It is offered with a slab foundation.

What Plan Format Should I Order?
At Sater Design, we’re all about creating your dream home and making the process as easy as possible for you. Therefore, the plan format you select will depend on your situation. For your convenience, we sell our plans in 3 basic plan formats: printed on Vellum paper, in electronic PDF file format, and electronic AutoCAD files. AutoCAD is the name of the program that is used to create the plans. There is no “correct” or “better” plan format, it all depends on your individual needs. Each plan format has its benefits and some are more versatile than others.
Print Vellum: The most popular plan format our customers order is the Print-Vellum format. This plan format gives you a set of plans printed on Vellum paper that you can show your builder. Copies can be made as needed– see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details. The Vellum paper is erasable (using a special architect’s eraser) so added notes or minor changes can be made to the plans if needed. The Vellum plan format is the most expensive to ship.
PDF Electronic: The second most popular plan format is PDF, which is an electronic file format. We email you the plan as a set of electronic PDF files. This plan format provides the most expedient way to receive the plans. Your local blue print shop can make prints as needed. Again, see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details on making copies. The PDF plan format is an electronic file, but it is not editable so changes can be more difficult to make.
CAD Electronic: If you need to make changes or alterations to the plan, you will need to order the plan in electronic AutoCAD plan format. Anyone with the AutoCAD program and knowledge of how to use it — which most builders do –will be able to open the files and make changes to them. Your builder or local blue print shop can make prints from the AutoCAD files (see the Plan Licensing Information page for more details). There AutoCAD files come on a USB flash drive and is shipped with your plan licensing information packet.
